Their ecstatic stage shows are inspired by such great contemporary brass bands as Youngblood and Lucky Chops. These influences create a truly unique modern West Coast Funk.

Cookin' With Brass has performed at such major festivals as The Harrison Festival of the Arts, SurreyFest, The Harmony Arts Festival, The Surrey Fusion Festival, Hats Off Days, The Surrey Tree Lighting Festival, Taiwanese Canadian Cultural Festival and The Irish Fusion Festival. They have brought their Funky Brass sounds to many special events including The Vancouver Symphony Day of Music, The Whiskey Smoke at Hastings Racecourse, Granville Block Party and the Main Street Car Free Day. The band has performed at numerous community concerts including Concerts in The Park (Hope BC), Summer Nights in The Township (Langley) and Sounds of Summer in Surrey. Cookin' With Brass has also performed for corporate events for such clients as Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of BC & Yukon in addition to major gala evenings including The Soirée for Family Services of Greater Vancouver...even a wedding!
